Using Meeting Intelligence

How Nutan captures, transcribes, and analyzes your meetings — all on your device.

How Meeting Capture Works

Nutan captures your meeting audio silently using system audio capture. There's no bot that joins your meeting, no recording indicator for participants, and no audio uploaded anywhere.

Before the Meeting

When a meeting is about to start (detected from your calendar), Nutan prepares a briefing:

  • Deal context and recent activity
  • Stakeholder information for attendees
  • Suggested talking points based on deal stage
  • Open action items from previous meetings
  • Competitive intelligence if relevant

During the Meeting

While you're on the call, Nutan:

  1. Captures audio from your system output.
  2. Transcribes in real time using on-device AI models.
  3. Detects speakers and attributes dialogue.
  4. Surfaces coaching suggestions — objection responses, competitive positioning, and talk track prompts.

The transcript appears in the meeting panel as the conversation happens.

After the Meeting

Once the call ends, Nutan:

  1. Deletes the audio — raw audio is removed immediately after transcription. Only the text remains.
  2. Generates a summary — key discussion points, decisions made, and overall sentiment.
  3. Extracts action items — commitments from both sides, with owners and due dates.
  4. Updates deal signals — new evidence is added to the deal record.
  5. Drafts follow-up emails — based on what was discussed, ready for your review.

Viewing Meeting Records

Navigate to the Meetings section to see all captured meetings. Each meeting shows:

Privacy

  • Audio is processed entirely on your device.
  • Audio is deleted after transcription — it is never stored.
  • Transcripts and intelligence stay on your device unless you choose to sync.
  • No one at Nutan can access your meeting data.
