Understanding Deal Intelligence

Learn how Nutan analyzes your pipeline with evidence-based signals, not opinions.

What Is Deal Intelligence?

Most CRMs show you what reps say about deals. Nutan shows you what actually happened. Deal intelligence replaces opinion-based pipeline management with evidence derived from real conversations, emails, and meeting patterns.

The Deal Sidebar

Every deal in Nutan has a sidebar that shows:

  • Deal health score — A signal-based assessment of where the deal actually stands.
  • Evidence-based signals — Verified facts from meetings and emails, not rep opinions.
  • Stakeholder map — Who's involved, their role, sentiment, and last interaction.
  • Action items — Commitments made in meetings, tracked to completion.
  • Timeline — Every meaningful interaction, automatically logged.

Signal Types

Nutan classifies signals by confidence level:

  • Verified (green) — Confirmed by direct evidence. Example: "Budget confirmed at $50K in March 12 meeting."
  • Assumed (amber) — Inferred from patterns but not directly confirmed. Example: "Decision timeline likely Q2 based on procurement cycle."
  • Weak (red) — Warning signals that need attention. Example: "Champion hasn't responded in 14 days."

Morning Briefing

Each morning, Nutan generates an opinionated briefing for your pipeline:

  • Deals that need attention today
  • Signals that changed since yesterday
  • Meetings coming up with deal context
  • Follow-ups that are overdue
  • Competitive threats detected

Deal Chat

You can ask Nutan about any deal using natural language:

  • "What did Sarah say about budget?"
  • "When was the last time we spoke to their CTO?"
  • "What objections came up in the demo?"
  • "Draft a follow-up for the procurement discussion."

Nutan answers with evidence — citing specific meetings, dates, and quotes.

How It Works

  1. Meeting intelligence feeds into deal records automatically.
  2. Email context enriches the timeline.
  3. CRM data provides the pipeline structure.
  4. AI analysis connects the dots — detecting patterns, risks, and opportunities across all your data.

Everything runs locally on your device. Nutan never sees your deal data on our servers.
