Connecting Email & Calendar

Set up Gmail and Google Calendar so Nutan can draft follow-ups and prepare meeting briefings.

Supported Providers

Nutan currently supports Gmail for email and Google Calendar for calendar integration.

Connecting Gmail

What It Enables

  • Nutan drafts follow-up emails after meetings based on the conversation.
  • You can review, edit, and send emails directly from Nutan.
  • Email context is used to enrich deal intelligence.

How to Connect

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations (or connect during onboarding step 6).
  2. Click "Connect Gmail."
  3. Your browser opens to Google's consent screen.
  4. Sign in with your work Google account and authorize Nutan.
  5. You'll be redirected back to Nutan automatically.

Permissions

Nutan requests permission to read your email for deal context and send emails you've approved. You'll see the specific permissions on Google's consent screen.

Connecting Google Calendar

What It Enables

  • Nutan sees your upcoming meetings and prepares pre-call briefings.
  • Meeting intelligence is automatically linked to the correct calendar event.
  • You get a morning briefing with today's calls and relevant deal context.

How to Connect

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations (or connect during onboarding step 7).
  2. Click "Connect Google Calendar."
  3. Authorize via Google's consent screen in your browser.
  4. Nutan now has read access to your calendar.

Permissions

Nutan requests read-only access to your calendar. It reads your calendar to know when meetings are happening but never modifies your calendar.

Security

All OAuth flows use industry-standard protocols:

  • Google uses a standards-based secure OAuth flow. Tokens are exchanged directly between your device and Google — they never pass through Nutan's servers.
  • Tokens are stored in your operating system's secure keychain — the same storage used for your system passwords and certificates.
  • Token refresh happens automatically. If refresh fails, you'll be prompted to reconnect.

Disconnecting

Go to Settings → Integrations and click "Disconnect" next to Gmail or Google Calendar. All stored tokens are immediately deleted from your keychain.
